Overview

Dark Mode is a Chrome extension that converts web pages to a dark theme, ideal for browsing at night or in low-light environments. The extension offers one-click toggling via a toolbar button, letting you quickly enable or disable dark mode. Beyond the default theme, the options page provides over 50 different dark themes to choose from, so you can switch based on your personal preference. For sites where you don't want dark mode applied, Dark Mode includes a whitelist feature. You can add domains to exclude as a comma-separated list on the options page, or use the right-click context menu to instantly whitelist the current site so it remains unaffected by dark mode. Regarding privacy, the developer states that the extension does not collect or use user data, does not sell data to third parties, and does not use data for purposes unrelated to its core functionality or for credit scoring. Developed by Grephy, the extension is 337KiB in size, supports an English interface, and is currently at version 0.5.9.
